“Outstanding leaders guide people through resonant connections. Resonant relationships occur when the leader and those around them are in sync and in harmony. These connections are marked by a shared vision and hope, empathy and care, as well as mindfulness. The aim is to inspire individuals to welcome change and, consequently, instigate change in others. We illustrate this through practical demonstration and explore the neuroscience underlying resonant and dissonant leadership, with a specific focus on the default mode and task-positive networks.”
